Vanna White Surprises Fans at Wedding by Walking Them Down the Aisle
Two Wheel of Fortune fans won a unique fortune – host Vanna White walked them down the aisle at their joint weddings.
The couples got married during the myVIP World Tournament of Slots hosted by playSTUDIOS and held at the Atlantis Paradise Island resort in the Bahamas, held from Oct. 22 through Oct. 26. In a video shared on the tournament’s Instagram page on Oct. 26, White, 68, prepares to surprise the couple.
“I’m about to surprise some people, so shhh,” she whispers at the start of the clip. The camera then focuses on the brides as they smile and prepare to walk down the aisle towards their husbands-to-be.
“Hey girls, how are you?” she said as she rested a hand on each woman’s shoulder. One bride turned around in shock and said, “Oh my god!”
“I’m going to walk you guys down the aisle,” the TV host said. “I’m going to take you to your men.” The video captures White walking the two Wheel of Fortune super fans to the altar.
The mVIP World Tournament was an invite-only event extended to 500 people. The tournament gave each player a chance at winning a $1 million grand prize.
“I had tears in my eyes watching this wedding,” White told Parade in an interview. “To see these brides walk out and be able to connect them with their soon-to-be husbands at that moment was so special to me. I love doing things like this. It just warms my heart.”

This is not White’s first run-in with helping fans get hitched. In January, White and co-host Ryan Seacrest shared that their team had helped the boyfriend of contestant Rhea Mathew propose to her.
“We’re celebrating milestones in honor of our 50th anniversary and actually had one happen earlier in the week right here on the set,” Seacrest said in a clip shared on YouTube.
“Robin, the boyfriend of former contestant Rhea, reached out for our help in asking her a big question,” White added, explaining that along with announcer Jim Thornton, they “created a bit of a ruse, making Rhea think she was back to celebrate Wheel‘s 50th.”
“But take a look and see what happened,” she continued about former contestant Rhea, who previously appeared on the show in October 2023.
In the clip, Rhea successfully solved the puzzle, “Will You Marry Me?” as announcer Thornton said, “Nicely done.”
